Wedding discos in Cumbria & The Lake District are our speciality. At Dancing In The Dark we have been providing entertainment at weddings throughout Cumbria and beyond since 1988. We have enormous experience to enable us to ensure you have the perfect party.
Based in Penrith, Cumbria, in the heart of the Lake District, mobile discos for weddings form the core of our business, though we are also available for birthdays, corporate work, Christmas parties etc. We can also provide karaoke as an optional extra.
We have provided the entertainment for hundreds of weddings and have received many glowing testimonials.
Our DJ will start the evening off by playing background music, until the bride and groom have their first dance, gradually building up an atmosphere, keeping our audience dancing, eventually slowing things down towards the end of the evening. We will also make any announcments you may require. We encourage requests and always ensure that all musical tastes are catered for.
We take the view that it is your day, your party, your music. So we will always play your requests, either in advance from a playlist provided by you or on the night of the party.
For your peace of mind, our equipment is safety checked (PAT) annually and we carry Public Liability Insurance.
