Pulse Mobile Disco

Pulse Roadshow is owned and run by DJ Lee Dewberry.
Lee has been performing Mobile Discos since 1990 when he started helping out his brother-in-law Gary.
In 1995 Gary decided to give up so Lee went out on his own and created ‘Pulse Roadshow’. Since then the shows have become more advanced so Lee has been able to offer more than just the average Mobile Disco which is why he refers to his entertainment as ‘Audio & Visual Shows’!

Lee is dedicated to offering the best you can buy regarding equipment, in fact many people tell him he’s obsessed! The equipment is properly maintained and looked after, and operated by professionals. The lightshow is breathtaking, controlled from a dedicated touchscreen computer! The sound system is the top of the range from JBL. Lee’s attention to detail even ensures that the sound system is designed to place sound nicely on the dancefloor, rather than deafen everyone sitting chatting nearby, and also allows our microphones to work clearly and without feedback.

The type of events Lee can cater for are Weddings, Engagements, School/Student Discos, Proms, Birthdays (10 upwards), Leaving do’s, Corporate events,Promotions, Product Launches, Christmas and New Year parties etc.

This most special of all days requires a huge amount of planning, but with Pulse Roadshow we can at least take some of the pressure off you for your evening entertainment! We understand your dreams, and can help to make them come true. Every wedding is special, and we treat every wedding booking as a one-off, discussing YOUR needs and not just meeting your requirements, but aiming to exceed them in every way!

We design our show around YOUR requirements. You can have small and discreet or you can have a mobile club experience, whichever suits you best. Subtle lighting with big sound, no problem. Discreet sound with big lighting? We choose our equipment to best suit you, the venue and your guests – rather than many companies with their ‘one size fits all’ policy, which simply means that’s all the equipment they have! Why not take a look through our photo gallery and you will get a good idea of the different ways we present ourselves, then call to discuss YOUR requirements!

We can either set up early in the day before your guests arrive or after the meal and speeches. If you choose to have it set up in the morning we can provide subtle background music and also provide microphones for the speeches.

Another service which has become hugely popular is our Wedding Photo Projection service. Venue permitting, we will set up a projection screen or 1 to 2 large 42″ LCD monitors, and prior to your wedding will provide a digital camera for you or one of your guests. He/she can snap away all day, and on the evening we will show a slideshow presentation on our screens. This way you and your guests have a constant reminder of the days high points, and your evening guests can feel more involved in the day’s proceedings. The pictures you see at the bottom of this page were taken by a guest using our camera and then displayed on a screen in the evening.

Every year Lee takes bookings from Amsterdam to entertain over 500 foreign students that visit our country. So he gets to cover every type of music going!!
In fact Lee caters for almost any event that requires Audio & Visual Entertainment!!

Over the years he has built up an amazing reputation which has led him to become one of the top Audio & Visual shows in his area. He advertises only in the Yellow Pages but most of his work comes from recommendations, word of mouth or repeat bookings from top entertainment venues and hotels.

In the past Lee has provided entertainment for celebrities like Samantha Bond (Miss Money Penny from the Bond films), Amanda Holden (Britain’s got Talent), Adrian Lukis & Philip Glenister (Peak Practice) to name a few!

Before every event the Audio and Visual equipment is checked in case of blown lamps or fuses or accidental damage whilst in transit. Lee also carries back up equipment in case the dreaded happens. He can make sure the night will run as smooth as it can if a breakdown should occur. Also the equipment is flight cased to save it from getting damaged.

Lee also carries up to date Public Liability Insurance (£2million)

Most shows look great when the lights are out but how many look good when the lights are on? All the cables are hidden, not trailing across the floor to be tripped over, they don’t sag from light to light or you will never come across equipment that looks dodgy!!

If you were to hire equipment like ours from a local Disco shop you will be expected to pay over £1000, and that is without a DJ and Light Jockey or music collection.

Booking Pulse Roadshow will get you an experienced DJ, a Light Jockey, Professional Audio & Visual equipment, PLI and an excellent time!! All this and a Written Contract. When we send out the contract you will find attached an information form. This will ask you questions like ‘who the party is for’, ‘type of music to be played’ and just as important ‘what music NOT to play’! We also ask for details like emergency numbers and the phone number of the venue.
