Shadow Entertainment was established by proprietor and principle disc jockey Mark McGreal. We pride ourselves on providing a reliable, stylish and most importantly quality mobile disco service. Our philosophy is simple – “excellent music, high quality equipment and attention to detail, what ever the occasion”.
Mark started in the DJ business at the ripe age of 18, and although only being 22 he is able to read audience reactions and able to adapt his style to suit any occasion. Mark has been professionally trained by one of Wales’ top mobile DJ’s Justin Banwell of Black Panther Discos. Due to the experience and nature of Justin’s DJing, Mark specialises in Wedding’s, Corporate events and also Children’s entertainment. Nevertheless we can provide entertainment for any occasion imaginable.
Mark officially launched Shadow Entertainment in 2007 and decided to run as a separate entity from his counterpart Justin becuase of the overwhelming volume of work which was inconsumable due to having a full diary.
Mark initially trained as a sound and lighting engineer, and it is his understanding of technology that Shadow can put together the most spectacular, stylish and sophisticated shows, as well as the most simple, yet stunning and elegant ones.
The music collection available from Mark is vast, providing the widest range possible to suit all musical tastes or themed events. This, together with the very best professional audio equipment, will keep you dancing long into the night.

The disco / evening entertainment is usually the last thing to be arranged, which is a shame as your evenings entertainment lasts for around 6 hours of your day, and is one of the things your guests remember the most.
We pride ourselves in providing first class entertainment for wedding celebrations, and it is our attention to detail which has enabled us to become one of the prefered entertainment companies in many of the top hotels across the country.
In our opinion, your evening reception should be given as much time, preparation and thought as your beautiful three tier wedding cake, so much so that we will visit you at home, if requested, to give you further help and advice on the success of your evenings entertainment. Should you not require a home visit Mark McGreal will liaise with the Bride and Groom to ensure your requirements for the entertainment are met.
The evenings entertainment will comprise of a fantastic selection of easy listening background tracks as your guests arrive, followed by the first dance (if you would like one) and then the very best in tried and tested music, ranging from the 60’s, throughout the decades upto the latest chart hits, including all the popular party classics, right up to the grand finale, all of which is fundamentally aimed at making your special day one never to forget.
