The disco / evening entertainment is usually the last thing to be arranged, which is a shame as your evenings entertainment will last between 4 to 6 hours, and will make or break your day! In our opinion, your evening reception should be given as much time, preparation and thought as everything else on your day.

We always set up our equipment at the agreed time, making sure that we always arrive at the venue well in advance of the playing time. We will always be smartly presented, polite and responsive your needs. We can set up in the morning or 60 minutes before you want us to start playing – it’s completely up to you!

We will gladly play from lists provided in advance, which ensures the bride and groom will always hear the music they have requested. This is particularly important for those having a first, second, or last dance!

When it comes to celebrating your wedding you will want to choose an evening of entertainment that compliments and enhances such a special occasion.

Much more than music! Playing great music is only one part of the key to success for your reception. Making all your guests feel included with dancing, singing, and fun are also essential elements, plus if you want them, you can also choose optional extras of party games, a fun pub style quiz, and a “Stars in Your Eyes” cabaret!

Just to make sure that everyone is entertained we carry give-aways to keep the younger children occupied during the early parts of the evening.

We offer a mixture of music from the 1950’s to the present day, and you can either leave the music selection down to us, or we can play from a pre-arranged play list so that you will definitely get to hear the exact songs you want.

Whatever the occasion we will always arrive smartly dressed and ready for action! We’ll always be available to answer any questions or queries you have, and you can rely on us to be polite.

Depending upon your wishes we can set up either first thing in the morning, or leave it until around 60 minutes before you want us to start. It’s entirely up to you and how it fits in with your event.

We can cover a wide range of events including birthdays, anniversaries of any type, school discos, village fetes, and practically anything else you can think of!

We have been based in Kent running Whites Discos for the past 7 years and since the beginning our company has been an entirely family run business. As we are a family run business it enables us to keep our prices low while ensuring that we can provide you with a top quality entertainment service.

Every booking we receive is treated as though it’s our first, with every effort made to ensure that the client is totally happy with the entertainment that we provide. I have been a Dj for 10 years and have covered almost every form of function possible. My bookings include a pre-event meeting at your venue, that way we can get to know each other. They also include a 30 track listing from you and many optional extras such as room lighting & decoration etc. I am a full time DJ so I am available every day if you need me.

I have covered more private functions over the years than any other event. Some of the most interesting places I have ended up DJing include a beach, a stately home, a pool party, Spain for the weekend, a festival etc. I love private functions and can provide your entertainment no matter where or when.

I am NOT one of those cheesy DJ’s who plays all the wrong tracks, does not listen or adapt to your guests & talks over the music with humour only they can understand! I treat each event separately. I will adapt to your requirements, take requests from your guests and read the dance floor at all times.
All of my local wedding bookings include a pre wedding meeting at your venue or over a skype meeting. This way we can go though your plans and make sure that all the boxes have been ticked for your big day!

When booking you can choose up to 30 tracks of your choice and list any other special requirements. I am very flexible and can accommodate all manner of requests.

I have a very approachable djing manner and I warmly encourage requests from you and your guests. I use a state of the art digital Djing system so I have immediate access to a huge range of music from the 1920’s to today. I also use a mac laptop and have mobile internet for request downloads.

Its not everyday that you have to organise a DJ and we know what a minefield it can be. Hopefully we can give you some advice that will help you. Even if you decide not to book one of our DJ’s the following will be a great help to you. Best of all its free information.
Will the DJ actually turn up? – The mobile disco industry is not regulated. Unfortunately, that means that anybody can start up with a small investment and some basic equipment. This means that you can often find single operators advertising in local papers at rock bottom prices. This is great news if you are willing to take a gamble. The odds of this person being worried about their reputation are small. The chances of them actually turning up are also very small. We tend to find many of these operators will give a very reasonable price to secure a booking. The trouble is that if they get another enquiry for the same night, they will quote a higher price than they did to you. If the customer accepts, I’m afraid you get let down. Even worse, not wanting to make it look bad, they will normally let you down on the night with a weak excuse. (My equipments been stolen, I have flu, I have had a crash on the way to your party)

Unfortunately, we get many desperate calls of an evening from very distressed customers who have suffered from this. The lesson is simple, avoid single operators who have no back up plan. Each evening we have an emergency DJ reserved in the unlikely event that anything should happen to the one we have booked for you. Should they phone in sick or have a problem, we immediately send the replacement. (We have had to use this twice in 23 years, not a bad record by any stretch of the imagination) If your not using one of our DJ’s, don’t be afraid to ask the question to whoever you book what plans they have in place.

Will the DJ be any good? – The same applies as per the previous answer, anybody can be a DJ and start a mobile disco. The only way to guarantee you get a good DJ is either a reputable company or word of mouth. The chances are, you have arrived on this website because somebody has recommended us. Around 90% of our work comes from repeat business or word of mouth. As sole supplier of entertainment to Europa Leisure and the Barcelona Tapas chain in London, our reputation is more important than anything. We want you to advertise our services for us once you become a customer. We got where we are today through word of mouth. Once again, if you decide not to book us, don’t be afraid to ask the question, can they give you details of previous happy customers who would be happy to talk to you? We certainly can and will be happy to do so.

What do you get for your money? – It would be normal to get a DJ, sound system and a lightshow when you book any mobile disco. Whilst all the elements are important, the DJ’s knowledge, personality and ability to please a crowd are paramount. Playing the right music at the right time is as important as using the microphone correctly. A DJ constantly on the mic all night will drive you crazy, not enough mic and you may as well have booked a jukebox. We pride our self on getting the balance right, being able to judge a crowd to play the right music and using the mic to encourage the party atmosphere. DJ’s carry a wide range of music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s to the best party music and latest up to date dance and pop. The mobile discos are of the highest standard, offering you a choice of soft subtle lighting to the latest digital controlled lighting effects. We like customers to supply us with a list of their favourite records beforehand so we can make sure we have it there on the night. Just as before, if your booking somebody else, ask how they programme the night and what sort of things they do to get your party rocking. You should get a good idea of personality on the telephone so that’s a good starting point
